I was a bad fan last night and left the game early. All of the excuses (It was unexpectedly cold, I just ate most of a big bag of Munchies(TM) snacks and felt sick, I needed to sleep, etc etc) don’t really make it okay that I bailed and put the game on the radio (where I had to listen to Charley Steiner). So i’ve watched the video of Ethier’s walk off homer a bunch of times and my favorite part is this Braves fan. The camera pans by him and he’s got this “come the fuck on! what the hell!” body language. I love it.
So what if i missed it, I’ve seen him do it a few times this year already. I got to see ODog’s 1000th career hit, Manny almost take off Lowe’s head with a line drive, and Randy Wolf’s first career stolen base. Good game guys. Way to make us sweat it out.
